The shape allows the 3-2-1 Desk to be arranged to fit the day's lesson plan. For a lecture or testing, 3-2-1 Desks can be lined up in rows; for group work, the tables can be arranged in partial and full circles. All of these configurations encourage students to participate and ultimately foster cooperative learning. Choose the 3-2-1 Desk for pre-K through grade 2 or a larger surface 3-2-1 Desk for grade 3 and up. A tough bumper edge guard surrounds the high-pressure laminate surface, helping to resist wear. The legs, made of 14-gauge steel, resist scuffing; the 1" adjustable leveling glide caps add protection and help to provide stability on uneven floors.
